Layla has been dancing since she was just 18 months old and has trained extensively across all genres, with a special love for Musical Theater, Contemporary, and Ballet. She has been a dedicated member of her studio’s competitive team since 2013, performing on regional and national stages. Some of her proudest accomplishments include performing at the 2025 Chita Rivera Awards, representing Pennsylvania in Dance Across the USA, starring as Clara and Lead Spanish in Mid Atlantic Dance Theatre’s The Nutcracker under the direction of Mr. Scott Jovovich, and being recruited as a model for Dancewear Solutions. Layla is also deeply involved in her high school community. She is a member of the concert choir, the drama program, and participates each year in the school musical. She is proud to be part of the National Honor Society, balancing her academic achievements with her passion for the arts. Her dedication to both her education and her craft has earned her numerous awards, including multiple Outstanding Dancer honors from NYCDA, Senior Miss Legacy Regional Winner, Jump and 24 Seven Regional Winner, and scholarships from prestigious programs like CLI Summer Dance Intensive and NYCDA’s Winter Intensive. In addition to her dance and academic success, Layla has built an impressive modeling portfolio. She is currently a model for Dancewear Solutions and has represented brands such as Apolla Performance Footwear, Gray Arrows Photography, Oh La La Dancewear, Purple Pixies, Costume Gallery, A Wish Come True, and ZOE LTD. Through every opportunity, Layla continues to pursue her passions with hard work, heart, and a love for performing.
